Daktaris 2

The Daktari are a specialist Medical unit of the Nomad forces. Their ranks are filled with Corregidorian doctors who serve time in Nomad Military Forces in order to avoid fines and penalties for more dubious activites and medical misdemeanors. They are distributed between various Nomad regiments, and have a reputation for reciting a stream of insults and colourful language as they tend to casualties - a mantra which has become something of a calming verse for injured Nomad troops, as an indication that they will be healed soonafter.
