Flames of War - German SdKfz 251/2 C (8cm GrW 34)

The SdKfz 251 medium half-track was built by the Hanomag company throughout the war. The initial idea was for a vehicle that could be used to transport a squad of infantry to the battlefield protected from enemy small arms fire and with some protection from artillery fire. The four main models, A to D, had many variants, including the SdKfz 251/2 C which had a reinforced base plate in the rear of the half-track to allow the 8cm Granatwerfer 34 mortar to be fired from the vehicle. The forward machine-gun mount was removed because the mortar fired to the front and a normal base plate for the mortar was carried inside the vehicle so that the weapon could be dismounted to fire if necessary. contents: this blister pack contains 1x German SdKfz 251/2 C (8cm GrW 34)
