This sort of building is not just suitable for the Victorian period in Britain. Buildings like this became more and more common from the 18th Century onwards and this style of building appears in many countries including countries outside of the British Empire making 4Ground's Whitechapel to Baker Street range very versatile terrain and certainly ideal additions to any World at War battlefield.
The Warehouse is part of our Whitechapel to Baker Street range and will look great on any Victorian or Post Victorian urban table. This incredibly large building is a great centre piece for any board or as part of a larger warehousing district. It is perfect for the docklands areas and the warehousing near train stations. Many things were transported back by intrepid explorers and who knows what mysteries may be packed into this warehouse.
An large and stunning piece of terrain designed to help you create a dynamic and interesting battlefield, whether it be a single warehouse supplying goods to the local area or as part of a huge warehousing complex. This kit has many pre-painted parts and, as you would expect from 4Ground, comes to you with high levels of internal and external detailing. The external walls have been etched with a high quality brickwork effect, making the building fit perfectly into any Victoriana setting. The roof is peaked and has a walkway and fully opening hatch on to the roof parapet on the roof peak there is also a plaque that could be used to state the owners name. Inside there are two floors the ground floor has an accessible loading bay for vehicles and a platform to load them from as well as working doors and plaques stating the direction of travel for wagons, the next floor up has working hatches where products would be lifted through and has the office for the ‘Clark of Works’.
As usual each storey is removable allowing maximum in-game access to each one of the many rooms. Once placed floors are locked in with locator lugs in each corner.
This sort of building is not just suitable for the Victorian period and Britain. Buildings like this became more and more common from the 1800’s onwards and this style of building appears in many countries and although thought of as specific to the British Empire they can be found all over the world, making 4Ground's Whitechapel to Baker Street range very versatile terrain
